Greg and Pam Randall

Pam and I have been collecting American Brilliant Cut Glass for several years. While the early, simple patterns such as Strawberry Diamond and Fan, Russian, and Hobnail (aka Hob Diamond) are particular favorites, our collection is eclectic.

Pattern Identification has become one of my chief interests and I spend entirely too much time staring at catalogs and books. By the way, I find that one of the easiest way to find one pattern ID is to hunt for another one. It seems that I frequently don't find the one I'm looking for, but DO find the one I was looking for last week, or last month... Try turning the book(s) sideways or upside down too.

My wife of 30+ years and I live in Redmond, Washington (off in the distance in the picture of the Seattle area above). We have 2 grown daughters and 2 young grandchildren. I am a chemist by training, have made a career of managing forensic and clinical testing laboratories and also teach Pharmacology and Addiction Studies at Seattle University. Pam is a transcriptionist for insurance companies and a very busy Nana.

If you have questions, please contact us by email. We are also listed in the ACGA Directory.
